The problem is with the limited space on RCP. You'll notice in the second 'graph of the article, I used the term, "Neoliberals". Essentially, NeoLibs are the economic conservatives. While we think of conservatives in a single pot, there are some who only care about fiscal conservatism (the NeoLibs) and some who care only about social issues (SoCons) and of course, NeoCons you've heard of, I'm sure.<BR/><BR/>As for attracting a lot of attention, this particular article was among the least voted -- or comment on of any I've done. Probably owing to most people catching the satirical nature of the piece and not finding it worth the bandwidth to have been published, much commented on.<BR/><BR/>I have to admit, my tongue was only slightly in cheek. The NeoLibs have certain perceptions of SoCons, their being "homophobic" among them, and I believe the "man crush" thing was intentional.
